NAT West customers in Haverhill have reacted 'very positively' to the bank being open in the town on a Saturday for the first time.
The High Street bank has opened on two consecutive Saturdays, between 10am and 3pm, with more and more customers expected to pass through the doors as word gets around.

The decision to open on Saturdays came after Nat West customers reported Saturday opening was a top priority for them.

Penny Bullock, deputy branch manager at Nat West in Haverhill, said: “Customers have reacted very positively.

“It’s been busy but I think there are a lot of customers who still don’t know we open so as word gets around we can only get busier.

“Come 2pm we are the only High Street bank left open in town.”
