Two arrested for attempted murder

TWO men from Haverhill have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an altercation in the town on Sunday evening.
The fight took place in Bedford Court, Haverhill, between 8.30pm and 9pm, with three men suffering wounds to the body, and head and facial injuries as a result.

Three men have also been arrested on suspicion of affray and all five were bailed to return to Bury St Edmunds Police Station on October 13.
The men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after the incident are 25 and 23 years old.

The men arrested on suspicion of affray are 21, 24 and 49 years old.
